AI type foundry
Describe a typeface.
Get a font file.
Write a sentence and fontgen draws every character, cleans it up and builds a real font — crisp vector outlines or full-colour bitmap letters. Fine-tune it in a glyph editor and export TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2.
We look for a matching font in the marketplace first, then help you create one.

From a sentence to a font
- 01
Describe
Words, a reference image or an existing font. Choose vector or colour bitmap.
- 02
Generate
The AI draws every character on one sheet. Re-roll until you love it, or edit the sheet yourself.
- 03
Refine
A real glyph editor: baseline, spacing, kerning and scale — per letter or for the whole font.
- 04
Export
TTF, OTF, WOFF and WOFF2. Keep it private, or sell it in the marketplace.
Vector or bitmap?
Vector
Classic outline fonts. Lightweight files that work everywhere — design apps, office software and the web.
Best for text, logos and websites.
Colour bitmap
Every letter is an image, so textures, materials and colour come through — wood, steel, glass, wool. Files are larger (megabytes), so use them for display type rather than body text on the web.
Choose Screen for web and apps, Print for posters and large headlines. Works in browsers and Apple apps; check support in your other tools.
